Umbrellas

The "Umbrellas", an emblematic sculpture of the great sculptor Giorgos Zongolopoulos, are among the most important sights of Thessaloniki. They are located in the central point along the Nea Paralia and have 13 meters height.

The sculpture has been placed on a wooden platform built for this purpose and the appropriate lighting has been created to stand out at night and become one of the symbols of the city.

ΓTo be photographed with them, you have the freedom to move between them and touch them in order to become part of this art. The "Umbrellas" are a favorite meeting point for the residents of Thessaloniki.
