Kemal Ataturk Museum
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder and first president of the Turkish Republic, was born in 1981. The house where he was born and spent his youth is located at 75 Apostolou Pavlou Street and was granted by the Municipality of Thessaloniki in Turkey to be turned into a museum. The current Atatürk Museum therefore allowed public entry in 1953.
The building stands out for its architectural and historical value. It is painted in the shade of pink and consists of 2 floors, while outside it has a courtyard.
On the walls of the house, visitors can see many photographs from different phases of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's life. Also, they can admire some personal items, photographs, period furniture, documents, as well as a wax figure of Kemal.
