Ancient Agora (Roman Forum)

The Ancient Agora is located in the center of the city, between Egnatia and Agiou Dimitriou street. Today it functions as an archaeological site of Thessaloniki.

Well visible from all sides even if closed, the outdoors archaeological site can be visited during the day free of charge. The museum includes exhibits with artifacts from the site, including silver coins and marble sculptures and has an entrance fee.

The ancient market square is where the popular "Picnic Urban Festival" takes place, at the end of every summer.
